Chronology of a failed reconciliation

The evening without her

Your silence
Screamed in my ears
And turned my face
Into cold wax.
When it finally melted,
I was glad you weren’t near.

The night with someone

I know the clammy sheet
We both had wet with lust-sweat,
And dead lips on ice-cold breath
Was the lustiest we could get

Alone, with the mirror

(and I’m stuck here; any help shall be appreciated, big time!)

lust, love, he
